I was first introduced to the fried fare at Curt's Place many years ago when a friend informed me that they had something called fried mashed potatoes. They were factory made mashed potato balls with a breading that were deep fried. They were awesome. Curt's doesn't have them any more, but I found myself passing the place recently and decided to check it out.
The decor/ambiance is...well....gas station-like.
After seeing a preview of an order of fries on some tables, I knew $1.92 was kinda steep regardless of how good they may be.
Standard, factory-made 1/2 Ore-Ida style fries. Meh.
A decent amount, but not for almost 2 bucks. 5 out of 10. Their burgers are good, tho.
Seasoned fries are the way to go there.
